Onno is passionate about helping leaders and entrepreneurs increase their leadership capacity and create high-performing teams and cultures. He has worked with leaders at all levels around improving their emotional intelligence, and coached entrepreneurs around business development, product strategy and managing their energy. In 2013, Onno co-founded a consultancy dedicated to equipping people with tools to manage the “people” side of work – i.e. having difficult feedback, accountability, and conflict resolution conversations. Prior to that, he spent 10 years leading a Bay Area engineering start-up from 3 to 30 people, including several years as design engineer, technical sales lead and finally National Director of Sales.   

Onno is a natural coach and facilitator. He combines a sharp and highly-trained intellect with a deep capacity for empathy and emotional attunement. Trained at the Coaches Training Institute and more recently Minds at Work based at Harvard, Onno draws on multiple modalities studied over the past 15 years. Onno has the ability to create a safe learning space for anyone to get to the heart of their challenge and engage in deep transformation. Furthermore, his international background enables him to bring a unique vantage point to any conversation. His warm and engaging manner make the learning fun, and he embodies the material he delivers. Onno has facilitated and coached at world-reknowned brands like Whole Foods Market, Oracle, Dropbox, Pinterest, Adobe, Twitter, Autodesk, Lam Research and more both in the USA and internationally.
